18 days in, and it’s still weeping sticky goo, despite continuous use of dettol, iodine, and wound wash. Turns out I have a bacterial colonisation. Maybe there was chud on the pedal, or something. Either way, a course of antibiotics is apparently in order. I guess I could leave it oozing brown mayo, and grow stuff in it… or not. No, I think I’ll go for the Flucloxacillin.
