Yep, healing nicely.

Watched Fahrenheit 9/11 at the DoY last night. There’s nothing new in it for any Graun/ZNet reader, and it could have been edited better, but he wasn’t trying to preach to the choir, and as a polemic documentary, I think it does its job. He took a Chomsky lite perspective on the military-industrial complex, splicing in footage of 9/11 and kids from his hometown; I admit, I nearly cried a bunch of times. I realised I still can’t watch 9/11 footage without getting choked up. The grannie in Iraq, screaming over the loss of her family, and the mother in Flint, crying over the loss of her son; both had me weepy. Seeing people distraught at the pointless death of their nearest and dearest just makes me blub. What a miserable business.
