Hi DrMekon, Good point!,Thanks for your comment and providing me with this opportunity to set the record straight. The photo's used on our website are showing the 2008 models, as I pointed out based on these models we have made the needed improvements and re design. In the end the difference is in the details not in the over all look and close ups will be fully shown once we update our website but the more I think about it I come to the realization that previous models have set too much bad blood and the look of our new 2009 models still looks very similar to previous models even tough we have changed the frame and various other components, there for I do agree with your statement that this can cause confusion, I will need to think of a way to get away from all the bad blood and cheap copies for sure!in the end I might need to re consider to change the look of our bicycles completely, at the same time our bicycles as they now are stand for quality and time will tell, at the sae time all comments and suggestions are welcome!.

Hi Daniel - thanks for you comment.

So to be clear, are you saying that the photos on your site are not photos of the bikes that you will be selling?

If that's the case, can you see why your comments get the response that they do? You are saying your bike is different, but the photos are the same as those on sites that sell bikes that have been shown rusted and bent a short while later. As such, it's reasonable for people to conclude that you are selling bikes that will fall apart, albeit for $1800 instead of 600 Euros. It looks like you just changed the price and the logo.

Can you see why people might be suspicious that you are out to rip people off?

Hi All, I am truly amazed by all the negative publicity that's been put out there regarding a bicycle none of them have seen up close, rode, or inspected. To me there can be no doubt or miss understanding that wile bakfiets.nl and fietsfabriek were introducing their cargo bicycles a view years back there have been various companies whom tempted to copy and produce a cheap version of these popular Bicycles. I fully agree that these attempts have all failed and if you would look at all the facts you would have noticed that most of these brands have died already. Anyways back to my version of the bakfiets (new pictures to be posted on our website soon), As I stated to Henry (whom in the end is benefiting from bakfiets.nl so I understand and appreciate his position) these 2009 models have been going trough various improvements, to name a view we have changed the click and fold system, we re designed the main steering system, have re designed and strengthen the actual steel frame, upgraded all external components and have re designed its breaking system by adding a peddle break, at the same time we have treated the wooden cargo box with a special treatment to stand weather conditions trough out the year. We are currently in preparation of our photo shoot which will be updated on our website soon, In the end I am introducing a good quality Bicycle for a lower price than the current market has to offer which seems to make some people worried, Offering a product for a lower price does not mean the product is inferior or poor. I have put too many hours, finances and hard work into these bicycles to dully accept people to simply comment on a product they have not used. I do realize that previous companies have spoiled the market and I do feel their influence every day, photo's of previous models as shown on various sites tell their own sad story. in the end I believe in my product and will welcome your support.
